It has been grand, ribbon-cutting week as the Radisson Blu Minneapolis celebrates the completion of its multi-million-dollar property renovation and official re-branding to Radisson Blu® at the site of the original Radisson, opened in 1909.
“The transformation has taken place floor-by-floor, and in the way the staff delivers the guest experience,” said General Manager Steve Lindberg in an interview with a local television station this morning. “We are taking on the competition in Minneapolis and we are excited to share in the energy of the downtown experience.”
Opened just in time for next week’s Major League Baseball All-Star game, which is being played just a few blocks from the hotel at Target Field, the hotel is already at capacity this week with Shriners who are in town for an international convention.
Also featured on the television spot this morning was FireLake Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg, who grilled up an on-air Ox Burger, one of his most popular menu items this summer, for reporters.
Please join in congratulating Steve, Jim, and the entire staff at the Radisson Blu Minneapolis on this grand re-opening, and wishing them continued success during the exciting week ahead.
