Laurent Boisdron has been appointed Corporate Director of Operations, Managed Hotels, Americas. Currently director of Operations at our Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago, Laurent will transfer to the Carlson Rezidor corporate office in Minneapolis, effective May 5. He will report to Jeffrey Freund, vice president, Owned and Managed Hotels, Americas. 

In this new role, Laurent will work closely with Jeffrey on the development and deployment of key strategies for the portfolio. While his primary area of focus will be supporting a select group of hotels within the portfolio, he will assist with initiatives across all hotels to drive profitability, customer satisfaction, market share and employee engagement. 

Laurent brings a wealth of knowledge and global leadership perspective, having worked and trained in Belgium, France, Spain, Dubai and now, the United States. In addition to leading operations at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Laurent has served in general manager roles for independent luxury hotels, in a multi-unit role with Norwegian Cruise Line, and in operations for Accor Hotels.
