New Radisson Hotel Cartagena opens in Colombia

Radisson® today announced the opening of the Radisson Hotel Cartagena in Colombia. The 233-room, beachfront resort is located on La Boquilla Beach, along the northeastern coast of Colombia, and offers spectacular views of the Caribbean.

The hotel's guestrooms are contemporary in design with a modern Caribbean flair, offering five distinct room types, from standard rooms to deluxe master suites. The hotel also offers Business Class rooms with upgraded amenities and services to include breakfast, early check-in and more. 

The resort’s amenities include the brand’s signature complimentary, high-speed, wireless Internet access; a business center; the Ocean Pavillion Spa & Gym, featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center and a full-service salon; an infinity outdoor pool with stunning ocean views; classes on Caribbean culture, Colombian cuisine, marine life and local crafts. 

The hotel offers more than 11,000 square feet of indoor, flexible function space, a grand ballroom and multi-use meeting rooms, along with expansive grounds for outdoor meetings and events. Onsite dining options include the Palenque Restaurant, serving fresh seafood, steaks and traditional Caribbean dishes; Yarabí Cafeteria, offering quick snacks and light meals; and the Pool Bar, boasting handmade Caribbean cocktails and fun food. A beach kiosk, open-air lobby bar and 24-hour room service are also available. 

The hotel is just minutes from the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center and downtown Cartagena and near popular landmarks, such as the Fortress of San Felipe de Barajas, Cartagena Gold Museum, the Vaults, the Heredia Theater, and La Aduana Square.
