In this critical position, Matt will lead the company’s information security strategies to create and maintain an environment that safeguards the assets, confidential information and intellectual property of Carlson. He will report to Steve Brown, senior vice president and chief information and innovation officer, Carlson, and will chair the Information Security Council. Prior to his role at Jack Henry & Associates, he served as director of Corporate Audit for Travelers Insurance; national director of Computer Assurance for McGladrey & Pullen, LLP; and senior auditor at Ernst & Young, LLP. No stranger to Carlson, Matt started his career here as an internal auditor in the mid-1990s.

He holds certification as an Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Information Technology Professional (CITP), and Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and is certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT, and Risk and Information Systems Control.

Please join in welcoming Matt back to Carlson and wishing him well in his new position.
