Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the signing of the first Park Inn® by Radisson in Bogota, the capital city of Colombia. The hotel is anticipated to open in late March 2014.
“We are very excited about this addition to our portfolio as we grow the brand in South America,” said Scott Meyer, senior vice president, Midscale Brands, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. “The hotel is centrally located in Bogota, just minutes from the city’s nightlife and its financial and commercial districts, making it perfect for business and leisure travel, as well as corporate meetings and events.”
The property will feature 64 guest rooms and suites, several with kitchenettes and outdoor terrace views of the city. All rooms will be equipped with king beds and a separate living area. The property features seven meeting and event spaces; a spa, with a sauna and a massage room; and a full-service fitness center. El Restaurante Bambú, the onsite restaurant, will serve a full menu of contemporary and international cuisine, 24-hour room service, and a daily breakfast buffet.
The hotel will be managed and operated by Zen Operadora SAS.
“We are excited to begin a relationship with the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group,” said German Jaramillo, chief executive officer of AndiCapital Group, the hotel’s licensing entity. “The outstanding amenities and service culture, that the Park Inn brand is so well-known for, will make this hotel successful in one of the most popular destinations in South America.”
