With thousands of visitors in town for the 138th running of the Preakness Stakes, Tom Cook, general manager of the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys in Baltimore, and his team are hosting seven of the nine equine teams in town for the big race this Sunday. Located just two miles from Pimlico Race Track, home to the Preakness, the house is full of people and excitement for a week of activities leading up to the premier event.
Among its special guests this week is the training team for Orb, the three-year-old colt who won the Kentucky Derby earlier this month, and who is heavily favored to win this week’s Preakness. After one of Orb’s workouts this week, his trainers needed assistance in cleaning his saddle blanket and Robert Breeden, director of Sales for the hotel, knew just the laundry crew to get the job done. Thanks to the entire staff at Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys, every guest—even those staying down the road at the stables—are experiencing the service heart of Carlson Rezidor!
