Park Inn by Radisson opens in Glasgow′s city center

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group today announced the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Glasgow City Centre in Scotland. Close to the Central Station and the best shopping district outside of London’s West End, the hotel is a renovated 19th century, polished stone building. With 91 modern guest rooms, the six-story Park Inn by Radisson Glasgow City Centre is trendy, from its state-of-the-art meeting rooms and restaurants, to the 1930s sandstone flooring and fluted pilasters in its lobby.

Guests will enjoy room amenities that include 32-inch flat screen televisions, individual climate control, refreshment and ironing facilities, free high-speed Internet access and well-lit, spacious work areas. Suites and Superior rooms offer magnificent views of the city and are large enough for families. The property also features a round-the-clock restaurant and a bar.

Close to the “square kilometer,” as the Glasgow’s financial district is fondly called, the Park Inn Glasgow City Center is smartly situated for business travelers. Two, modern meeting rooms host up to 20 people each and offer natural light, state-of-the-art audio visual technology and free high-speed Internet access. Break-out rooms and facilities for private dining, parties and social get-togethers, along with a well-equipped gym, round off the property’s business offerings.

As TripAdvisor’s top “on the rise” destination in the U.K., Glasgow offers travelers world class shopping at Princes Square, Buchanan Galleries and the old Merchant City, crammed with quirky boutiques, restaurants and bars. Complementing its historic charm, the city has a trendy and growing art scene.
