The Radisson Blu Mall of America and Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau teamed up to host a familiarization trip this week. The “fam” showcased the nearly finished flagship property and previewed the food-stylings of Paul Lynch, the executive chef of the property’s much-anticipated FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar. As the first hotel connected to the Mall of America—one of Minnesota’s top visitor attractions—gets ready to open on March 15, the excitement is mounting.
In addition to a dozen local print and television reporters, the event also included 33 meeting planners from six of the country’s top markets and two reporters from China.
